Machining becomes more efficient and sustainable.
ARNO Werkzeuge, Karl-Heinz Arnold GmbH, presents products and measures for more sustainability in machining at EMO. Intelligent cooling systems that require less cooling lubricant and tools whose tool life can be tripled are contributions to more environmentally friendly machining. Likewise, the tool manufacturer is showing quick-change systems to save time and plug-and-play solutions for more efficiency in production.
"We have trimmed our tools, holders, modules and other components to plug-and-play and sustainability. This increases efficiency and productivity in manufacturing and at the same time protects the environment," emphasises Christian Kimmich from the marketing department of ARNO Werkzeuge. EMO visitors can take a closer look at products and measures at the tool manufacturer's stand and get process- and project-specific advice. At the world's leading trade fair for production technology, the company will be showing tools that stay cool and increase manufacturing success. These include the patented ACS internal cooling system, the AWL sliding head with AFC tool holder and the StoreManager for brand-independent tool management.
Interfaces "From the machine to the workpiece"
Under the motto: "From the machine to the workpiece", ARNO offers the matching interfaces of all tools from its own range to the machine. In addition to precise connection and a firm hold, the interfaces always also offer the passage of the coolant via internal cooling. And with the patented ACS (ARNO Cooling System), the chip is additionally flushed. This can extend the tool life by up to 300 % through first-class cooling performance.
With the AWL sliding head and the AFC tool holder, users change their swiss type machining tools easily and quickly. Because the internal cooling is also guided through the basic holder, the cumbersome handling of hoses and hose assemblies is no longer necessary. The ARNO StoreManager also stores unplanned quantities of tools directly and optionally occupies the compartments completely freely with tools. It makes optimum use of the storage capacity and offers full flexibility with a small footprint.
Now also think about the environment and sustainability
The ACS internal cooling system from ARNO also contributes to sustainability. Because if a cooling system is able to guide the coolant precisely into the cutting zone, heat dissipation increases and chip removal is improved. In this way, less coolant is used, process reliability is improved and fewer missing parts are produced, all of which contribute to environmental protection and resource conservation. And finally, longer tool life and longer tool utilisation are of course a maximum contribution to sustainability and cost reduction in every production.
