ARNO Werkzeuge looks to the future with optimism following AMB
Karl-Heinz Arnold GmbH (ARNO Werkzeuge) has drawn a positive conclusion from the trade fair. The family-run business welcomed numerous interested visitors to its stand. Among them were many regular customers with specific enquiries, who sought advice on process optimisation. In addition, the exhibitor made many new contacts. The interest shown by international visitors at the stand was also encouraging. Many guests wanted to find out more about the “ARNO Effect”, the motto under which the company promises opportunities for optimising machining processes.
“With our concept of customer-focused, partnership-based collaboration on process optimisation, we believe we are on the right track following the successful AMB,” emphasises Simon Storf, Managing Director at ARNO Werkzeuge. “This provides our customers with significant added value beyond the purchase of high-quality precision tools,” adds Head of Marketing Lukas Moumtsilis. The numerous visitors to the stand were keen to find out more about precisely this. Above all, they wanted to know how the ARNO Effect offers them opportunities to keep their production on track for success.
“At times, our stand was so crowded that visitors had to wait for a gap to appear,” reports Anja Winterstein from ARNO’s marketing department. The new product display, in particular, was constantly surrounded by people. There, the manufacturer showcased new high positive indexable inserts ground on both sides in PS2 geometry, new AFC toolholders with internal cooling, and the new AKS internal grooving system for compact and precise internal grooving from a grooving width of 1 mm. Also new were the MAX Axial modules for grooving widths of 3 and 4 mm with innovative ACS1 internal cooling, which are compatible with SE and SA inserts on VDI and standard flange-mounted-holders, as well as products for machining lead-free brass. The latter in particular attracted a great deal of attention, as the new EU regulations in this area require significant changes to the machining of such materials.
Specialist in peripherally ground indexable inserts
The tool manufacturer offers a wide range of tools whilst maintaining a high degree of vertical integration. This benefits users not only when producing large quantities, but also for small batches and particularly tricky custom tools. It is precisely from its extensive experience with applications that the family-run business draws immense expertise, enabling it to offer its customers numerous opportunities to continue to succeed. At the trade fair, many visitors also recognised why ARNO Werkzeuge is a leading supplier of peripheral-ground inserts.
“Closeness to our customers and end-users is extremely important to us, and our aim is always to establish long-term partnerships,” explains Dieter Wollensack, Sales Manager for the South at ARNO Werkzeuge. Particularly in these times of major change and transformation, established end-users have a great need for advice, as many industries, materials and products are often new and unfamiliar to them. “This was clearly demonstrated by the many enquiries from trade fair visitors regarding projects in the aerospace and medical technology sectors,” confirms Moumtsilis. With the right tools, as well as cutting parameters designed to boost production, ARNO Werkzeuge supports its customers even in new fields.
Positive trade fair outcome gives cause for optimism
ARNO Werkzeuge’s assessment of the trade fair is therefore clearly positive. With what it sees as the right focus on continued partnership-based collaboration, the tool manufacturer is looking to the future with optimism. The high numbers of exhibitors and visitors at this year’s AMB, as well as the tentative signs of growth from both home and abroad, are also providing a boost.
