ARNO offers the most efficient internal cooling system for tools. Not only have we developed and patented it, but we also make it available for a wide range of machines. This means: long tool life, outstanding chip removal, and improved quality and productivity for every production.
With the ARNO Cooling System (ACS) for grooving tools and the hybrid holder for turning tools, we have taken tool cooling to a whole new level.
To achieve this, we have optimised the shape of the channels and outlet openings. This ensures the flow is more effective. Heat dissipation and chip removal are outstanding. Those who cool with ARNO increase tool life by up to 300 per cent in grooving applications and by up to 200 per cent in turning. Process reliability and surface finish also set new benchmarks with ARNO.

ARNO internal cooling – switch over easily with plug-and-play
You can already benefit from these advantages on many machines. For grooving applications, the connection to the internal cooling system is made via our flange-mounted-holders. For turning, the hybrid holder with KMH mountings is available. If you wish to use internal cooling on long-turn lathes, opt for the AWL linear slide. Greater performance, simply via plug-and-play.

Process quality improves particularly where external cooling has its limits. When stainless steel, titanium or other tough materials present daily challenges, your tools will perform at their very best. Even with deep grooves and long overhangs, everything stays cool during production.
