The three-edged ATS system for parting-off, profile grooving and copy turning: Efficient thanks to three-edged inserts and fast tool changes.

Efficient thanks to 3-edged inserts; fast tool changes and rigid due to the Torx-Plus screw clamping system to offer optimised clamping and insert location: The ATS system for external parting off has many strengths. One of them is versatility: the countersunk clamping screw and the compact design make the ATS system ideal for applications like shoulder grooving or Swiss type machining.

This tool system works with low cutting pressure and excels on contours, the seats of O-rings and retaining rings, even with full profiles, as well as on special threads, thin-walled parts and other specialities. The optimised coolant supply to the cutting edge and tool flank ensure smooth chip evacuation and long tool life.

Standard and special
ATS Schneideinsätze - Standard und Spezial

Completely grounded contact surfaces and bearing surfaces and the precisely manufacturing of the flutes guarantee precision and repeatability. The universal grade AP5020 and the new high-performance grade AP7220 as well as the geometries -GA and -GB lead to first-class results. Special inserts are available for profile grooving.

NEW: ATS module

The new ATS module performs optimally in combination with the ARNO flange mounted holders and increases the flexibility of the versatile grooving system even further. Due to its design, the module dampens disturbing vibrations and ensures direct cooling of the cutting edge and the tool flank.

PERFECT Teamwork
KMH-Werkzeugaufnahme für das ATS-System

The monobloc holders of the ATS system, on which the cutting inserts are mounted, interact ideally with the KMH tool holders from ARNO. This high compatibility reduces the number of interfaces and thus further secures your manufacturing processes.
